| The Chapel of St Mary
Magdalene (also known as the Leper Chapel) is a place of worship
and part of the Parish of Holy Cross (with Christ the Redeemer Church)
on the east side of the city of Cambridge. The Chapel is owned and
maintained by the Cambridge Preservation Society. The Friends of
the Leper Chapel, formed in 1999, promote the use of the chapel
for education, cultural events and worship.

besides with the Cambridge Stortyellers new show, performed for
the first time at the Leper Chapel. Camelot is not such a silly

a medieval flavour, organised by the Friends of the Leper Chapel,
with support from Cambridge Preservation Society for Heritage Open
Day Weekend - come at midday for the traditional opening of the
fair or drop by through the afternoon. |

| Those who wish to visit the Chapel - it stands at Barnwell
Junction on the Newmarket Rd in Cambridge UK - may visit by prior
appointment with the key holder, Mrs Pam Thornhill, who lives at Station
House, Barnwell Junction just behind the Chapel (tel. 01223 241235).
Please note that there is no disabled access to the Chapel. |
